Syahboy vs. Neeq: Neeq Steps on a Land Mine

Stro and I watch so many battles that we were both baffled when we realized this bout wasn’t on the site. We discussed this battle on our podcast but somehow it slipped through the cracks. Like any other sport, battle rap has a plethora of different angles and often the equation for putting on a classic often changes.

We know Bloe is skilled when it comes to placing quality matchups in the ring, but the truth is, you just don’t know what’s going to happen after the coin is tossed.  With that said, when it comes to bodies, this has to be one of the best for 2014.  Syahboy, who had an average showing against Big Kannon in URL’s Born Legacy, definitely cranked up and let the culture know that he still has barz and performance.

On the other hand, Neeq wasn’t ready for the onslaught of punches Syah possessed and boy did he have plenty.  This proves that there are levels to battle rap like any other sport and unfortunately for Neeq, his barz were average making him a mid to lower tier competitor.  Syah, being the more skilled and poised opponent, knew exactly how to prepare his contender’s casket and he ultimately threw Neeq in the casket so hard that Neeq bounced  out the casket, only to land back in it.  The problem with that is the impact of him falling back in the casket automatically forced the casket to close.

For Neeq, this means that he either has to go back to the lab and dig deeper to present quality barz or just flat out retire.

Syahboys renders a closed casket on Neeq. This is an easy 1-0, BODY BAG.
