I love battles like this. It’s most likely because street battle rap is the most enjoyable of the art. It’s the essence of the form itself; and when done well is not easily matched. This battle is more than a street battle though. It’s a street battle body-bag.
Let’s not be confused and left with any other conclusion than that Dubby Dub caught a mean body. This must be made mention of as novice battle-heads can often get caught up in aggression and mistakenly give more credit to bars than they deserve.
You’re not going to a win a battle by making continuous threats. Yes, aggression is an effective tool but it must be accompanied by bars. While Gunnz was definitely entertaining he was a on a level noticeably lower than that of Dubby Dub.
